Looking For Connection? Join Us At A Conversation Cafe!

All Voices is partnering with the JOY (Justice, Outreach and Yoga) Community to explore a form of conversation that can help us strengthen our connection with others, especially those we don’t know well.

The Conversation Cafe  provides a fun, structured, and productive way to start and host conversations. It’s a format that can work in almost any community space, school, congregation, or neighborhood!

Connection builds community, and building connections depends on us. Pope Francis spoke to this in his book A Good Life (127): “If we want to encounter and help each other, we have to engage in dialogue. . . Persistent and courageous dialogue does not make headlines and yet it helps the world live so much better than we can possibly imagine.”

So come join us at the Center for JOY, 1202 Felix, for a Conversation Cafe on February 15 from 2 to 4.  Come, share, AND learn how to put this conversational format to use in your own community work and outreach efforts. (We will meet downstairs at the JOY Center, so come in to the
east entrance, off Felix. Come through the gate and down a half flight of steps.)
