Making Connections

Across the country there are many people and organizations working to build the connections and trust necessary to restore our sense of community and strengthen our democracy. You have opportunities this month — both nationally and locally — to join them.

The Listen First Project is one of the sponsors for next week’s National Week of Conversation. This includes a range of options from programs you can listen to, to opportunities for one on one conversations online .

Then you can join us locally for another Conversation Cafe at the JOY Center on April 19 at 2 p.m. The JOY Center is located at 1202 Felix, and we will meet downstairs so come in to the east entrance, off Felix. Come through the gate and down a half flight of steps. Our conversation will focus on strengthening neighborhood and community connections right here in St. Joseph.
